Creating Space
My Story and Experience
As a licensed therapist (LMFT 119617), I aim to partner with people as they learn to navigate the complicated parts of their experience.
People are complex, with a great capacity to overcome adversity and experience growth. Recognizing this fueled my desire to help others through a career in clinical psychology.
To pursue this, I studied at Biola University where I received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. From there I completed a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with an emphasis in Clinical Psychology at Azusa Pacific University.
Throughout my professional career, I have worked with a wide breadth of clients — ranging from young children and teens to individual adults and couples.
It is a great joy to say that my education, personal, and professional experiences have led me to work I love.
My Values
Collaboration
I understand that we learn best through experience. I value creating a collaborative environment in which you and I can work together in processing your thoughts, feelings, and experiences to promote growth.
Insight
Before change is possible, we have to better understand where we have been. I value the insight of past lived experiences and their connection to current challenges in order to pave the way for real growth.
Authenticity
The therapy space is a microcosm of relationships — two real people unpacking life’s highs and lows. I value being genuine so that you might feel comfortable showing up for yourself.
Self-Acceptance
When we feel insecure or shameful we tend to hide our true selves for fear of further rejection. I value reconnecting with those parts so as to foster healthy self-acceptance.
